About
The problem it solves Blockchain technology has always been about enabling individuals to create, share, sell, buy, and trade in a more open and borderless economy. The space has expanded rapidly with more protocols and chains coming live monthly, it's a better time than ever to be building consumer based applications. When we first entered the web3 space; scams, wallet drainers, and evil actors were rampant. This makes it very difficult to onboard millions of users when everyone thinks it is too much of a gamble to be involved in crypto, and the only use cases are meme tokens and monkey art. Our first thought was to provide a place where users can trade Crypto and NFTs peer to peer, but as we started ideating on how far could we stretch the use cases, we see a larger opportunity to contribute to the future of blockchain technology by satisfying other peer to peer based agreements. This idea pushed us to expand our scope and build wholistically for all peer to peer based agreements. We enable peer to peer agreements to be launched between two users anywhere in the world, backed by the safety and security smart contracts and blockchain technology can provide. Our goal is to enable both native and non-native web3 users to interact with each other directly to facilitate commerce and situational agreements.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into For us, our project doesnt stop at the end of the buildathon. We have a roadmap full of functionality and different use cases to build out, it was hard to not want to build everything so we had to start with the basics. Originally we wanted to push the number of use cases we showcase to 3, instead of the 2 we are delivering; Private Party and Open Market trading. Having to scale back due to issues implementing wallet functionality or adjusting backend code to fit a smart contract mechanics made use really think through what is important for June 30th deadline and not what the whole project will be. This leaves us with some functionality we wish could be showcased, but without unlimited resources we had to concentrate on being ok with adjusting our scope to meet the immediate goal.
