Slice - Referrals
Introduced referrals on Slice. When landing on a slice page from a properly formatted url, a referrer (if present) will receive referral fees for any product purchased, directly in the purchase tx.
About
The problem it solves The lack of an attribution system in onchain purchases. Without it, it's challenging to identify and reward those who drive sales or engagement through their promotional efforts. This adds to the existing onchain context slice already provides with respect to buyers, merchants, stores and products.
