About
The problem it solves ## Buy and sell NFT tickets - The idea of buying and selling tickets in the form of NFT addresses problems of the OTC market. ## The Problems - Problems arise from the online trading of tickets between people who own tickets from organizers of the show, in our case the Born Pink show. - We call the organizer F0, the person who buys tickets directly from the organizer is F1, and so on. - F1s want to resell tickets to F2s, and F3s, or vice versa, F2s, and F3s want to buy tickets from F1s again, but the problem is they can not trust each other. - Many F1s use 1 original ticket to sell to many F2 users to gain illicit profits. The buyer has no way of checking the current ownership status of that ticket or the latest owner. ### The problem here: + Double spending, 1 original ticket of the organizer can be sold to many people + It is not possible to trace the origin of the ticket owned by whom ### In short: - The organizer sold a real ticket to a F1, and the buyer certainly received the ticket. - But, later when a F1 sold ticket to a F2, F3 ... Fn is the story of trust between those people. No guarantee ## Solution: NFT application for the transfer of Born Pink show tickets between F1s, F2s ... Fns NFT characteristics: + NFT is Non-fungible-Token, meaning that the asset is not divisible and has integrity + NFT is unique, thanks to the pairs of properties you attach to it, every 1 NFT is minted uniquely with its time-stamp + The NFT can verify the origin through the data stored on the blockchain of that NFT. + NFTs can be limited in number + Transparency: NFT allows anyone to view and check the origin and quantity of that NFT. Based on those characteristics, applying ticket issuance in the form of NFT can solve the aforementioned problems ## USP + Focusing on the marketplace for resale of Born Pink Tickets between individuals + The price is agreed upon by the buyer and seller + Provides a safer, less risky way to transact
How it's made
Challenges we ran into ## Substrate is a new technology Our project uses mainly Substrate blockchain technology which is new and is still under rapid development. Its documents lack some part of the information that helps developers to customize the node, the smart contracts, and especially the frontend connection to the blockchain ## Not a big community The Substrate community is growing fast, but compared to other blockchain communities it is not as big. So, when developers get a bug, they find it difficult to find an article on how to fix it from experienced community members
