The problem it solves SHOP-in-eth caters to the increasing demand for a decentralized, secure, and transparent payment systems in e-commerce. Traditional payment means involve high fees, processing delays, and fraudulent risks. The platform offers an integrated shopping experience through payment methods using Ethereum, offering seamless and secure shopping experiences as blockchain technology eliminates intermediaries, builds trust, and gives access to the global economy.

How it's made

Challenges we ran into Understanding Ethereum Payment Integration: To integrate payments through Ethereum, one needed to understand smart contracts and blockchain technology. The first big challenge was setting up a payment gateway compatible with Ethereum. Security: Blockchain transactions are irreversible. So the process had to be secure from any exploit or errors. User Experience: It is not easy to simplify the complicated blockchain-based payment process for non-technical users. Therefore, the most important aspect of the project was to design an intuitive UI making Ethereum payments feel natural. Real-time price conversion: This allowed for the technological challenge of handling price volatility in Ethereum and converting it into fiat currency for product pricing.
