How it's made
Challenges we ran into ### Challenges I Ran Into Early on, one of the biggest hurdles was image generation speed. Each request to OpenAI’s model could take 30+ seconds, which quickly led to timeouts and made scaling nearly impossible. At first, this bottleneck felt like it could block the entire project. To overcome it, I built a custom image generation pipeline capable of running many jobs in parallel. The pipeline also supports retries, so failed requests are automatically reprocessed instead of breaking the flow. This not only solved the timeout issues but also made the system reliable under heavy demand. The result is a smooth, consistent experience where collections generate quickly — even at scale.
