    Reddit Scraper

Summarize what people say about a topic on Reddit

    About

The problem it solves ### 🧩 The Problem Reddit holds some of the most relevant, up-to-date, and community-vetted information on any topic—but accessing it efficiently is difficult. Users must manually search, filter through endless threads, identify signal from noise, and piece together insights themselves. Valuable content is often buried, scattered across subreddits, or locked behind specific formatting and sorting logic. This manual research is time-consuming and error-prone. --- ### ✅ The Solution An AI agent that scrapes, summarizes, and curates Reddit content on any given topic in real time. You simply ask a question or provide a keyword, and the agent navigates Reddit’s structure, extracts relevant posts and comments, ranks them by engagement and credibility, and returns a clean summary or insight pack. It transforms Reddit into an intelligent knowledge base—without the scroll fatigue. > 🧪 Try it now: > > > Paste the agent’s wallet address into **Coinbase Wallet**, say “hi”, and follow the steps: > > ```jsx > 0xaB294333aCABC275F9cFfBc00074dE3974237335 > ``` > Powered by **XMTP**, **Aventino**, and the **Coinbase Wallet**.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into As a builder, I wanted to participate in this hackathon and launch a fully functional AI agent — fast. My goal: build something real that people could use, find, and pay for. ### 🚧 **Challenge 1: I already built the agent—I didn’t want to start over** I found the Reddit Scraper working on **agent.ai** and didn’t want to rebuild it from scratch just to participate. ✅ **Solution:** I cloned and reused the existing agent as-is and connected it to **Aventino** via a webhook. No need to duplicate or migrate—just extend what I already had. --- ### 🚧 **Challenge 2: Making it easy to find and use** Building an agent is one thing—but if nobody discovers it, it’s pointless. ✅ **Solution:** By publishing it on **Aventino**, the agent became searchable and usable inside any wallet or assistant that supports the directory. It turned a standalone project into a usable tool. --- ### 🚧 **Challenge 3: Charging for each Reddit scrape** I didn’t want to give it away for free. I wanted users to pay **$0.10 per scrape** to show it could drive real value. ✅ **Solution:** I connected the agent to **Coinbase Wallet** and set up a simple crypto payment flow. Users pay per request, and the agent only runs once payment is confirmed. This wasn’t about reinventing the wheel. It was about showing that anyone can **reuse existing agents**, plug into the right tools, and go from **idea to monetized service**—without writing smart contracts or building infrastructure from scratch.
