The problem it solves Investing in cryptocurrency is often intimidating due to its complexity, volatility, and the vast array of assets spread across multiple blockchains. Recipe solves this by enabling users to invest in a diversified portfolio of tokens in an educated, personalized way. While traditional Web2 ETFs offer diversification, they lack the customizability and risk management required in the fast-evolving Web3 landscape. Recipe addresses these gaps by providing: - Accessibility: Simplifies crypto investing for beginners and experts alike through a user-friendly mobile app. - Cost Efficiency: Reduces the high costs associated with managing multiple assets across blockchains. - Personalization and Risk Management: Uses an AI agent to tailor portfolios to individual preferences and risk tolerance, offering a level of control ETFs can’t match. The solution empowers users to invest confidently in diversified token portfolios across sectors like L1 blockchain and AI agents making crypto investing safer, easier, and more approachable. User Interaction and Data Flow Here’s how users engage with Recipe: 1. Access the Mobile App: Users download and launch the Recipe app on their iOS or Android device. 2. Get Personalized Recommendations: The AI agent analyzes user preferences, market trends, and real-time data to recommend a diversified portfolio of tokens. 4. The project architecture and development process Recipe’s architecture integrates advanced technologies to deliver a secure, verifiable, and efficient crypto investing platform: - Eigenlayer AVS (Verifiability): Ensures the AI agent’s recommendations and actions are verifiable through proof of tasks, fostering transparency and trust. - Eigen DA (Compliance): Acts as the persistent data layer, validating and storing all data used by the AVS to maintain accuracy and integrity. - Phala Network (Trusted Execution Environment): Secures the AI agent’s operations, preventing tampering and ensuring its computations remain trustworthy. - AI Agent (Personalized portfolio management): Processes user inputs, market data, and trends to provide real-time portfolio management and recommendations. The development process focused on building a compliant, user-centric app by integrating these technologies. Emphasis was placed on transparency (AVS), compliance (EigenDA), security (Tee), and seamless multi-chain functionality, creating a robust foundation for personalized crypto investing. Product Integrations - Goat Index API (https://www.goatindex.ai/ai-index): provide real-time trading signals and detailed analytics for over 500 Solana AI projects. This API empowers the AI agent within Recipe to analyze market trends, assess token potential, and deliver precise, data-backed recommendations for portfolio management. By leveraging GoatIndex’s dataset including mindshare and market cap, our AI agent recommends token indexes, maintain and rebalance portfolios. - Eigenlayer AVS: Verifies the AI agent’s recommendations and actions through proof of tasks, ensuring transparency and building trust with users. - Eigen DA: Acts as the persistent data availability layer, validating all data inputs to the AVS and maintaining an immutable record of operations. - Phala Network (Tee): Secures the AI agent’s processes in a trusted execution environment, safeguarding against tampering and ensuring operational integrity. - React Native: Drives the cross-platform mobile app, providing a smooth and consistent user experience across iOS and Android devices. Trade-offs and shortcuts while building To deliver a working MVP for the hackathon, we made these trade-offs: - AVS Fees: We currently pay Eigenlayer AVS fees ourselves but will likely pass it to users in the future. Future optimizations include batching transactions or negotiating lower fees. - Twitter Data Scraping: Instead of relying solely on Goat Index or Cookie API for AI agent token data, we will scrape Twitter for real-time crypto data in the future. - Limited Multi-Chain Support: The app initially supports Solana where most AI agent tokens trade.
