About
The problem it solves What’s happening with the NFT market? In mid-2020, the world was introduced to DeFi, NFTs, and the wonders of the onchain economy, leading to what we now call The DeFi Summer. All that liquidity and volume boom was heavily concentrated on Ethereum Mainnet, especially when it came to blue-chip NFT collections. However, as Ethereum proved inefficient—mainly due to high fees and scalability issues—many users migrated their assets and attention to alternative L1s and L2s, drawn by attractive incentives. This shift pulled billions of dollars away from Ethereum Mainnet, and the ecosystem lost much of its momentum. The once-iconic collections that thrived there now struggle, stuck in a network that remains inefficient and lacks the user base and liquidity depth it once relied on. Since the DeFi market has increasingly evolved into a cross-chain environment spanning multiple ecosystems, our focus is on building the missing piece for the NFT market—a highly scalable, deeply integrated, high-liquidity infrastructure across multiple chains. At Sweep n' Flip, we’re building core solutions for the NFT space to make the entire ecosystem shine again. **NFT DEX** Sweep n’ Flip brings AMM V2 (x*y=k) mechanics to NFTs, enabling instant swaps, passive yield, and seamless DeFi integration by abstracting non-fungibility—making NFTs behave like fungible assets. **NFT Bridge** Powered by LayerZero, our bridge allows NFT collections to move across chains, unlocking cross-chain trading and liquidity. Together, these products enable developers to build new DeFi/NFT protocols and allow networks like Base to reconnect with dormant OG NFT communities—those holding high-value assets and deep experience. For the Base Batches Hackathon, we’ve developed Pull2Base, a Farcaster mini-app built on top of the Sweep n' Flip NFT Bridge & Aggregator. It allows users to seamlessly bridge NFTs from Ethereum to Base, demonstrating a future that is chain-abstracted, integrated, and built for everyone.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Since we’re an existing team participating in the Showcase category, where we use our current products as building blocks for new ideas, we believe it’s relevant to briefly mention some of the challenges we’ve been facing as a bootstrapped project. We’ve been building and shipping without external funding, which unfortunately impacts our delivery speed and limits our ability to run a proper Go-To-Market strategy. So we’ve focused all our resources on building as much as possible until we have a product ready to scale and the funds to launch it properly. Now, speaking specifically about the hackathon: it was our first time building with Farcaster Mini Apps, and the experience was surprisingly smooth. On the creative side, it opened up a range of use cases that weren’t even on our radar before. Frames introduce a new interaction layer that could play a big role in connecting social and onchain experiences. On the technical side, we expected more complexity, but found the dev experience clean and straightforward. Integration was fast, and the architecture fits naturally with what we’re already building. We’ll likely add this framework in our roadmap and future apps. Our experience during this hackathon definitely shifted how we think about building and delivering products for the consumer crypto space. Update: Unfortunately, we also faced some technical issues. We decided to finalize our bridge for the hackathon and spent a lot of time on contract deployment and testing. As a result, not all the features we planned were ready in time. When we moved to the Farcaster MiniKit, we couldn't debug some functionalities in time — but overall, integrating with Farcaster has been quite straightforward.
