About
The problem it solves [🎥 Quick intro video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AigO7uPYgBw&feature=youtu.be) DeFi is too fragmented. To trade, farm yield, or follow news you need 10+ apps. Every extra wallet, bridge, or gas step kills adoption. **Pithos makes it one app, one tap.** People use it to: - Trade across chains without thinking about bridges - Earn yield from the best opportunities automatically - Follow news that links directly to actions Coming next: betting and payments. 👉 In short: **Pithos makes DeFi simple enough for everyone.** Smart Contract Address(es) N/A Other Onchain Proof Pithos is already live in a **private beta** with real users testing trading, yield aggregation, and the integrated newsfeed. The core contracts are deployed and processing activity, showing that the product is beyond idea stage and running on-chain today. 👉 In short: we’ve moved fast from idea → beta → live users, and we’re already proving traction on-chain.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into The biggest challenge so far hasn’t been technical — it’s **UX**. DeFi already has the infrastructure. The hard part is making it feel simple and intuitive. With Pithos, the real problem was: *how do you compress the complexity of DeFi into a UX that anyone can use?* I studied the design of Chinese super apps (like WeChat) and the engagement loops of Gen Z-first apps (like TikTok). The challenge was figuring out how to adapt those patterns — infinite scroll, one-tap actions, clean flows — to something as complex as trading or farming yield. Through rapid prototyping and testing, I was able to build a design that feels **native to Gen Z users** while still carrying the full power of DeFi under the hood. 👉 In short: **Pithos isn’t a technical problem, it’s a UX problem — and solving it is what will unlock adoption.**
