Why are you participating for Based SEA? As a builder in SEA, I see firsthand the transformative power of blockchain technology. The gaming community here is growing rapidly, and with it, the potential to create meaningful economic opportunities. I am motivated to harness this energy to develop P2E-World, a platform that not only entertains but also rewards our players, driving local engagement and participation in the blockchain economy. Additional Features During the Buildathon, we introduced community challenges and a leaderboard system to enhance player engagement. This feature incentivizes players to participate actively, compete with others, and collaborate, creating a richer gaming experience. The feedback from our initial users helped refine these features, ensuring they resonate well with our community.
How it's made
What challenges are you focusing on? In my community, many gamers struggle to monetize their skills and efforts. Traditional gaming often leaves players without a reward system that reflects their contributions. Additionally, the barrier to entry for engaging with blockchain remains high for many. By addressing these challenges, P2E-World aims to create an inclusive gaming ecosystem that empowers players. How does your submission address this challenge? P2E-World addresses these challenges by integrating a token economy directly into the gaming experience. Players earn tokens for in-game achievements, which can be traded in a decentralized marketplace. This not only creates a new revenue stream for gamers but also fosters a sense of community through challenges and events that encourage collaboration and competition. Our platform brings gaming onchain, allowing players to reap the benefits of their participation and build a sustainable economy around it. Challenges we ran into One significant hurdle was integrating cross-platform functionality to ensure a seamless experience across devices. This required extensive testing and adjustments to maintain consistency in gameplay mechanics and reward calculations. To overcome this, we implemented a robust testing framework, engaging early adopters to provide feedback and identify bugs. This iterative approach not only improved the product but also strengthened our community’s involvement.
