    People ID

Portable KYC-token that works as single biometric sign-on with ramps and tradfi

    About

The problem it solves Each bank \ ramp has KYC provider on the back User data not shared between banks, even if it’s same KYC provider Each time user lojin with new wallet = this menas new user account for banks that triggers new KYC Repeated user buying crypto on web3 wallet also means new user for most of ramps that triggers new KYC As result, 20%-70% crypto-fiat transaction fail because of KYC issues. People ID offers single sign-on for users with traditional finance vendors and ramps. User Interaction and Data Flow KYC issuance: Step 1. Connect wallet to dapp Step 2. Choose and connect KYC credentials provider (Self XYZ) -> Scan QR code on Self App -> Sle ID Connected Step 3. Create Face ID (with Regular) Step 4. Verify credentails Step 5. Mint People ID nft-token KYC verification for 18+ verification, for meme coin issuance: Step 1. Connect wallet Step 2. Verify face with 3D faice ID to prove that you're 18+ Step 3. Meme coin issued The project architecture and development process The key component of the architecture is the Golang-based Issuer application, responsible for minting tokens and performing face recognition. Additionally, it hosts a React application integrated with Self.xyz and the Regula SDK. How It Works: The Issuer receives a person’s facial data and a proof from the Verifier (a Next.js application) to validate Self.xyz proofs. Using the Dlib library, the Issuer converts the face into a 128-dimensional vector and stores it as metadata on IPFS. After verification, the Issuer mints the token. Regula SDK is used for liveness detection to ensure authenticity. The Issuer also generates a zero-knowledge proof (zkProof) of user data using the Iden3 library. Demo Application Workflow: Retrieves the user metadata from their ID token. Performs liveness detection using Regula SDK. Compares the stored facial vector on-chain with the newly captured image from Regula. If there is a match, the system confirms that the face belongs to the same person. Additionally, the ID Token stores the root hash of our own zkProof, enabling verification of user data from any identity provider. Product Integrations Self.xyz - credential provider Ethereum Sepolia - testnet blockchain Alchemy - nodes provider Regula - liveness detection provider Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project Key features: - ZK interations with traditional mass market KYC vendors, that are used mainstream financial institutions - portable NFC token that con be duplicated and reused between all user wallets - signle sign-on experience independent from type of KYC behind
