How it's made
Challenges we ran into Building n0ir meant integrating multiple layers of the Base stack into a seamless user experience, which brought real challenges: 1. **Gasless Transactions with Paymaster** - Challenge: Sponsoring gas across different transaction flows (deposit, rebalance, withdrawal) required careful design to prevent failures or unexpected costs. - Solution: We integrated Base Paymaster directly into the CDP wallet system, ensuring every user interaction — from first deposit to final withdrawal — remains gasless. 2. **CDP Server Wallets for Non-Custodial Access** - Challenge: Managing agent-controlled wallets while guaranteeing true non-custody was complex. - Solution: We implemented Base’s CDP server wallet infrastructure so each user gets their own secure wallet. n0ir executes strategies, but the user retains full ownership at all times. 3. **AI + Aerodrome Reward Handling** - Challenge: Aerodrome rewards are distributed in AERO, but we wanted users to only see stable USDC. - Solution: We built an automated flow where the agent harvests rewards, converts them back into USDC, and credits the user — while taking only 2% of AERO rewards to cover Paymaster costs, infrastructure, and development. By leveraging **Base-native technologies (Paymaster, CDP Wallets, Miniapps)**, we turned what could have been a fragmented, risky process into a smooth, secure, and gasless one.
