    About

The problem it solves **Complexity of On-Chain Options Trading** Trading options on platforms such as Thetanuts Finance is still relatively complex and not beginner-friendly. Users are required to understand many technical concepts, including: • Strike price • Expiry date • Implied volatility • Premium • Risk/reward ratio • Liquidity pools For new users, this complexity often becomes the main barrier to getting started. **Lack of Guidance and Decision Support** Currently, traders on DeFi options platforms: • Must analyze the market on their own • Do not have built-in recommendation systems • Receive minimal in-platform education • Struggle to identify strategies that match their risk profiles As a result, many users: • Trade without a clear strategy • Suffer losses due to limited understanding • Quickly lose interest **Poor Risk Monitoring and Alerts** Options trading is highly sensitive to price and time changes. However: • Not all platforms provide comprehensive alert systems • Users often react too late to market movements • The risk of liquidation and losses increases Without proper alert mechanisms, users find it difficult to manage and protect their positions. **Low User Engagement and Motivation** DeFi options trading feels rigid and boring for many new users: • There is no progress-based reward system • No gamification for learning • Minimal feedback on trading performance This makes the learning process feel heavy and unenjoyable. **Fragmented Learning Experience** Options trading educational materials are: • Scattered across multiple platforms • Not directly integrated with trading features • Difficult to understand without hands-on practice Users are forced to jump between platforms such as: YouTube, Medium, Discord, and documentation just to understand the basics of options trading.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into 1. Integrating with Thetanuts Smart Contracts One of the main challenges was understanding and integrating with Thetanuts’ smart contracts, which have complex structures for options, vaults, and liquidity pools. 2. Handling Real-Time Market Data Providing accurate recommendations and alerts requires reliable real-time price and volatility data, which was difficult to synchronize across different sources. 3. Designing Meaningful Trading Recommendations Building a recommendation system that is both helpful and safe was challenging, especially in highly volatile markets. 4. Balancing Gamification and Serious Trading Adding gamification without encouraging reckless trading was a major design challenge. 5. Security and Wallet Integration Issues Ensuring smooth wallet connections while maintaining security standards caused frequent compatibility issues across different browsers and wallets. 6. Simplifying Complex Financial Concepts Explaining options trading in a simple way without losing accuracy was difficult.
