    About

The problem it solves - Video creators get a new revenue stream outside the usual subscription and ad options; they get to sell access to their content a la carte - Putting data on-chain lets you do things you couldn't before, like amass an open library of content anyone can view and interact with (permissionlessly!); think how much it sucks to find and pay for one TV show or movie (we're in subscription hell)

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into - I know I know end users don't really care about decentralization yadda yadda, but I wanted the challenge to decentralize as much as possible anyway for funsies. Boy, that was a choice, as providers like Storj, Lit Protocol, Livepeer, etc are not as easy to work with as their larger, centralized counterparts - Speaking of Lit Protocol, this is some cool tech but it's SO buggy; I almost have fully decentralized access control (how to prove a user can access a video) working but ofc web3 tech can be so incredibly unstable - Lastly, I wanted to abstract away as much crypto rails as possible from the end user; I want this app to (ultimately) feel like a web2 app; wallet UI/UX still has a long way to go
