LookLock
Register and Login System using Face Recognition
About
The problem it solves The goal of this project is to provide an easier human-machine interaction routine when user authentication is needed through face detection and recognition. The user enters username and password but our project uses OpenCV – Face Detection, which quantifies the face into an array of 128 numbers. The face is scanned when registered and compared during logging in. After logging in , the user can create , edit and delete files.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into User Authentication: Ensuring secure and reliable authentication while preventing unauthorized access. Face Recognition Accuracy: Achieving high accuracy in face recognition algorithms despite variations in appearance and environmental conditions. Data Privacy and Security: Implementing measures to protect user data from unauthorized access or breaches. User Experience: Balancing security with a seamless and user-friendly interface for a smooth registration and login process. Hardware and Compatibility: Addressing compatibility issues and ensuring the availability of required hardware and software configurations.
