About
The problem it solves In this digital age, people around the world can donate to any organization of their choice — but does the money really reach the intended organization and the people who need support? According to several news outlets, such as The Star, New Straits Time and Bernama, there have been several alleged misuses of donations that occurred recently which caused public outrage and raised serious concerns about transparency and accountability in charitable organizations. For example, Due to the Palestine and Israel war, multiple charity and donation program had been carried out, aim to support both Palestine and Israel communities during the war. However, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) recently expose a prominent charity organisation for allegedly misappropriating public funds meant for Palestinians, redirecting them for personal purchases such as cryptocurrency, luxury homes, jewellery, and vehicles. To address this issue, we created a Blockchain Donation Application called ChainAid and implement a blockchain technology in our, which track every donation transaction from the donor to the organization to ensure full transparency and avoid any form of misappropriation, fraud, or misuse of funds.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Challenges Encountered: The initial website design lacked suitability for our project’s theme, and certain text elements had insufficient contrast with the background, making it very difficult to read. We overcame this issue by providing a more precise and clearer prompt for ChatAndBuild, giving clear instructions for the color, animation, and background of the website so the website matched with our project theme.
