About
The problem it solves **Kisan Secure bridges the technological gap for Indian farmers by offering AI-assisted crop analysis, real-time weather updates, and a blockchain-enabled wallet — all in one bilingual platform.** Farmers can: - 🧠 Make smarter decisions with AI-powered crop health diagnostics - 🌦️ Reduce risk by planning around hyper-local weather forecasts - 💸 Instantly file damage claims and receive payouts using Web3 wallets - 🗣️ Access tools in both English and हिंदी, improving usability and accessibility It simplifies complex agricultural workflows, empowers users with timely data, and brings transparency and speed to claim settlements — especially vital in rural areas with limited digital literacy.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into One of the biggest hurdles I faced was integrating **Web3 wallet functionality** smoothly within a React + Vite app. Managing asynchronous wallet connection events, ensuring user permissions, and displaying real-time feedback (like claim status or transaction errors) without breaking the UI was particularly tricky. Another challenge was designing a **bilingual interface** that seamlessly switches between English and हिंदी. Handling font rendering, RTL alignment for future scalability, and ensuring that translations didn't break layout required careful planning. I overcame these by: - Breaking wallet logic into modular hooks for better state control - Using `i18next` for localization, along with responsive design breakpoints - Continuously testing on multiple screen sizes and devices to keep accessibility at the core These bugs taught me the importance of **progressive enhancement**, clear UX communication, and breaking problems into manageable parts.
