The problem it solves Indexy solves the growing problem of navigating an overwhelming and fast-expanding crypto landscape. With thousands of assets emerging across chains, most tools still focus on tracking or investing in individual coins—making it hard for users to keep up or make informed decisions. Indexy shifts the focus from single assets to dynamic, theme-based indexes, allowing users to capture broader market trends, reduce risk through diversification, and stay aligned with evolving narratives like AI, memecoins, or specific blockchains—all in one place.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into While developing Indexy, two major challenges have been regulatory compliance and building a reliable data pipeline. Navigating the legal landscape around crypto indices—especially when considering features like investable products—required deep research and guidance. To address this, I’ve connected with a solid team of lawyers and am exploring partnerships with potential licensing sponsors in Europe to ensure Indexy operates within a compliant framework. On the technical side, handling and transforming large volumes of crypto data into clean, usable formats has been a key hurdle. I tackled this by building a robust, modular data pipeline that allows for easy updates, normalization, and integration with multiple APIs.
