    About

The problem it solves Grant giving organizations don't know where there money is going, much less what it is doing. The Incented Protocol solves this in multiple stages. 1. It let's them involve their communities in the capital allocation decisions. 2. It provides their grant recipients a way to build in public while including the projects users and/or the larger ecosystem in prioritization and validation of milestone deliveries 3. It gives them a way to track their money their recipients work on their proposed milestones 4. It provides them impact insights into their money during and post deployment 5. It allows them to look back and draw conclusions about how their funded projects performed

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into We bit of more than we could chew. With a large problem such as grant funding, we initially planned to implement the entire flow from allocation decision through prioritization of projects and their milestones to the validation of contributions. Once we got started it became apparent that we needed to limit it to one of two fundamental interactions to implement for the demo. Since we designed the protocol as a generic coordination protocol we were able to model two core interactions and focus on implementing those for the hackathon. Post hackathon we can then use the same fundamental interactions to implement the remaining flow in the grant funding cycle.
