About
The problem it solves Graff allows anyone to place their digital collections into AR spaces blended with the real world, enabling them to express their creativity without physical constraints. **Problem** - Stringent regulations make it difficult to express creativity through physical graffiti. - It's challenging to foster attachment to digital collections. - Existing AR applications do not allow users to own content. - It's impossible to keep every keepsake you accumulate in your life. **Our Solution** - Easily AR Experience: You can mint AR objects and place them into the real world to play with them. - Infinite Space: A creative space without physical constraints. - Composability: Creators can create public domains, which means encouraging others to remix them. - Rewards: Creators can continuously earn rewards through Zora's protocol. **Examples of AR Objects** - 3D CG - Graffiti - Face filters - 3D versions of CC0 like Nouns - Memes - Physical items 3D scanned using tools like Polycam - Digital clothes **Future Prospects** We plan to develop various features to enhance user experience. - Upload Objects: Allow creators to upload objects and create them as NFTs. - Seamless Integration: Our app supports login with your Farcaster accounts, displaying other users' captures on the timeline. - Social: Facilitate user interactions based on Farcaster’s social graph - Real-Time Communication: Enable users to interact and play in AR spaces in real-time. - Geolocation: Allow objects to be placed based on geographical locations. With the advent of devices like Apple Vision Pro, the world is becoming more digitally augmented and we begin to blur the boundaries between physical and digital. We create spaces where the on-chain and physical worlds blend. This will not only attract more people to the on-chain ecosystem but also maximize the value of on-chain assets.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into **Wallet Authentication** Initially, we planned to use Privy for wallet authentication to enable sign-in via Farcaster. However, we discovered that Privy does not support integration with Unity. Consequently, we decided to switch to Web3Auth, which supports Unity. Despite this, Web3Auth required an additional step of connecting the wallet after login, complicating the user experience. To simplify the UX, we ultimately decided to support only MetaMask for wallet connection. **WebGL and PWA Development** We aimed to deploy our service using WebGL and provide it as a PWA. However, we encountered significant challenges due to the limited availability of libraries for WebGL, which slowed down the development process considerably. To address this, we shifted our focus to developing an Android application and created an APK for testing.
