The problem it solves This application simplifies attendance recording by leveraging face recognition technology. It eliminates the need for manual attendance marking, reducing paperwork and saving time for teachers or administrators. By automatically detecting and matching faces, the system ensures accurate attendance records for students in a convenient and efficient manner.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into During the development process, I encountered a few challenges. One of the hurdles was ensuring reliable face detection and recognition under varying lighting conditions and angles. To overcome this, I implemented advanced computer vision algorithms and techniques, fine-tuned the face recognition models, and conducted extensive testing and optimization.
