The problem it solves EduMate makes learning more interactive and personalized by turning Farcaster into a gateway for on-demand AI tutoring. Instead of endlessly searching the web or struggling to piece together information from multiple sources, people can simply ask EduMate a question and receive a guided, step-by-step learning experience. Smart Contract Address(es) EduMate currently does not rely on its own deployed smart contracts — the core functionality is powered by AI-driven learning flows integrated within Farcaster. Future versions may incorporate smart contracts for credential verification or decentralized learning incentives. Other Onchain Proof At this stage, EduMate does not yet have onchain transactions tied to it. However: - The Mini App has been verified through Farcaster’s domain + account association signature. - The app is discoverable through Farcaster clients and hosted on a live, verifiable domain. - Future iterations may integrate onchain proofs such as attestations of completed lessons, learning rewards, or credential NFTs.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into A key challenge I faced was connecting my AI voice agent with the Next.js frontend. Handling real-time audio streams in a browser while ensuring smooth integration with the backend voice agent was not straightforward. I resolved these by setting up a dedicated WebSocket layer, optimizing audio chunks for faster transmission, and testing extensively across environments. Once configured correctly, the voice agent could respond in near real-time through the Next.js interface, making the experience seamless.
