Why are you participating for Based SEA? I’m participating in Based SEA because I want to challenge myself to grow as a developer, despite coming from a background with limited resources. My passion for learning and interest in blockchain technology motivates me to find innovative solutions for real-world problems. Additionally, I see immense potential in Base for fostering innovation in Southeast Asia, a region I feel connected to, as it embodies diversity, growth, and determination.

How it's made

What challenges are you focusing on? I'm focusing on streamlining the donation process for people in my community who want to give to multiple organizations or individuals at once. Currently, the process of donating to several parties requires multiple transactions, which can be time-consuming and expensive due to gas fees. How does your submission address this challenge? My project, Donat3, simplifies the donation process by allowing users to send Ether donations to multiple recipients in a single transaction. This reduces the time and effort needed to support several causes and lowers transaction costs by consolidating multiple donations into one. It could encourage more charitable giving by making the process more efficient and cost-effective. Challenges we ran into One major challenge I faced was optimizing gas fees when sending donations to multiple addresses. Dividing Ether equally among recipients required careful handling of the division process to avoid rounding errors and ensure accurate transfers. Additionally, given my limited computing resources, it was challenging to test the project efficiently, but I overcame this by leveraging online tools like Remix for smart contract deployment and testing.
