    Distli

    The Blockchain in your Pocket

    About

The problem it solves Distli is envisioned to be a revolutionary blockchain app-chain stack, designed for developers, that operates seamlessly on edge devices such as browsers, mobile phones, and IoT systems. By embedding lightweight nodes directly into applications using web-native technologies like JavaScript and TypeScript, Distli will empower developers to build scalable, decentralized applications (dApps) with unparalleled ease and efficiency. Distli is aiming for a paradigm shift in blockchain usability by integrating decentralized capabilities directly into applications, eliminating the need for heavy infrastructure or third-party intermediaries. With its browser-native design, developers will be able to create applications that combine the power of blockchain with the simplicity and accessibility of web technologies. The goal is to drive innovation across industries, with applications spanning DePIN, RWA, IoT, industrial automation, enterprise, and consumer-facing solutions. Why buidl Distli? The current blockchain landscape is highly complex, with significant technical challenges, high infrastructure costs, and a lack of focus on edge device compatibility. Developers face challenges such as limited state management, lack of native data control, and heavy baseline requirements for nodes, which make integration into modern applications costly and inefficient. Distli aims to refocus the ecosystem with a developer-first approach. By leveraging lightweight and modular architecture, Distli will make it possible to deploy blockchain nodes on edge devices without sacrificing performance or scalability. This approach empowers developers to focus on solving user problems, rather than navigating the technical hurdles of traditional blockchain infrastructure. Distli not only lowers the barriers to blockchain adoption and implementation, but also unlocks new possibilities for creating decentralized solutions that are practical, efficient, and scalable.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into We are currently developing the MVP and key architecture for the app chain node. We are also starting development of the developer portal and aim to have it concluded in 3 to 4 months. In 2 months, onboarded 2200 developers to our open source developer platform with a simple landing page. We are looking into grants in order to accelerate portal and MVP development.
