    About

The problem it solves Most DeFi users must constantly watch token prices to catch the right moment to trade. This project solves that problem by allowing users to set custom buy/sell alert conditions on-chain. The smart contract checks live prices using Chainlink data feeds and alerts the user when the target threshold is met. *Currently, the alert is triggered only when the user manually initiates a check (not continuously monitored). In future iterations, a session-based monitoring system will be added for real-time automation.* This removes the need for constant manual tracking and enables decentralized, automated price alerting — saving users time and reducing missed opportunities.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into While testing locally with Hardhat, I ran into an issue where the AggregatorV3Interface from Chainlink wasn’t working properly. This was because the actual data feeds are not available on local networks, which caused my contract’s price-fetching logic to fail during tests. To overcome this, I understood the limitation and decided to skip local mocks and directly test on the Sepolia testnet using real Chainlink data feeds. This allowed me to test real use cases more accurately and saved time during the hackathon.
