About
The problem it solves In our innovative platform, we've streamlined the user experience to make joining and participating in projects a breeze, especially for those who already possess **a NEAR wallet**. By using blockchain technology, the platform **eliminates** the need for **intermediaries**, reduces transaction fees, and enables global participation. Besides, we're aiming to provide **a more transparent, and secure crowdfunding platform**. ## Projects are divided into categories We provide 3 types of projects: >- ***Charitable Crowdfunding***: education, healthcare, disaster relief, environmental conservation, and social welfare. - ***Community Crowdfunding***: for community centers, parks, schools, sports teams, cultural events, or small businesses (start-up). - ***Creative Crowdfunding***: allows artists, musicians, filmmakers, writers, and other creative individuals to raise funds for the production of their work, such as albums, films, books, artworks, or performances. ## Project milestone Our initiative also permits the establishment of milestones, which are distinct targets that must be accomplished prior to the disbursement of funds. This guarantees that funds are disbursed exclusively upon achieving precise goals, lessening the potential for fraudulent activities and guaranteeing the appropriate utilization of funds according to their designated purpose. ## Keep track of money Customers can effortlessly monitor their donation flow, as transactions are stored across blockchain nodes, enabling them to easily track how their funds are utilized by the project owner. This enhances trust among customers and fundraisers alike.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into ## UnorderedMap When participating in a donation project, it deletes another project from all created projects. This took me 2 days to fix, I finally realized that the UnorderedMap data retrievals wrong ## Hardware is not suitable for running smart contract We all use Windows laptops, so some functions of Near are not supported, to be specific, although I use WSL 2, I can't manage to create a Near app. After several attempts, we decided to run Linux on the virtual machine, and the problems were solved, however, the memory was quite limited, so we ## Not enough time for further development Due to encountering certain issues with team formation, some members disengaged, prompting us to postpone. It wasn't until two weeks before the submission deadline that we commenced work, resulting in limited time to develop certain advanced features as intended. Consequently, some functionalities had to be streamlined.
