    Crosschain Donation

Donate without hassle, or even borders

    About

The problem it solves CrossChainDonate makes decentralized fundraising accessible, transparent, and cross-chain ready. Why it matters: Most donation platforms are centralized and lack transparency. Blockchain donations can be intimidating, especially for non-technical users. Sending funds across chains (e.g., from Ethereum to Avalanche) is usually complex, involving multiple bridges or risky steps. What people can use it for: ✅ Simple, transparent donation platform on Avalanche ✅ Donate in native AVAX or send funds cross-chain via Chainlink CCIP ✅ AI-powered assistant helps users understand the donation process in plain English ✅ Real-time donation history increases trust ✅ Supports causes like Education, Health, and Environment In short: CrossChainDonate simplifies blockchain philanthropy — safer, beginner-friendly, and cross-chain compatible.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into ✅ Challenges I ran into This project involved combining multiple advanced Web3 technologies under tight hackathon timelines: Key challenges: 🚧 Cross-Chain Complexity: Setting up Chainlink CCIP, configuring supported networks, and ensuring tokens safely moved between Sepolia and Avalanche Fuji took significant time. Documentation helped, but testing cross-chain flows was non-trivial. 🚧 AI Agent Integration: ElizaOS was new, and configuring a custom AI persona, running the AI agent locally, and exposing it to the frontend required trial and error. 🚧 Frontend & Backend Coordination: Keeping smart contracts modular (separating Donation logic from CCIP receiver) while ensuring seamless user experience meant extra coordination between contracts and the frontend. How we overcame it: Leveraged Chainlink's CCIP starter kits and faucet tools Customized ElizaOS character to align with donation use-case Modularized contracts to keep CCIP logic cleanly separated Iterative testing across Sepolia and Avalanche Styled the frontend to make the experience approachable for all users
