CPRM Prototype
CPRM: Connecting Care, Simplifying Hospitals.
About
The problem it solves CPRM is a comprehensive hospital management system designed to unify 73 display screens across Wenlock Hospital's departments (Cardiology, OT, Pharmacy) into a centralized platform for real-time updates, emergency alerts, and synchronized data display. 🎯 Problem Addressed Fragmented Display Management: 73 screens showing disconnected information No Real-time Synchronization: OT schedules and pharmacy inventory operate independently Emergency Alert Gaps: No unified system for Code Blue/Red broadcasts Department Silos: Cardiology, OT, and Pharmacy lack integrated communication Patient Privacy Concerns: Full patient names displayed on public screens Smart Contract Address(es) https://gauresh.is-a.dev
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Time Constraints: Developing a comprehensive platform that unified 73 display screens across multiple departments required rapid feature prototyping and integration. Balancing core feature delivery such as real-time synchronization and emergency alerts within a limited project timeframe was a major challenge. Role-Based Access & Permissions: Implementing a scalable role-based access control system was complex, especially with diverse interfaces and permissions for admins, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, and public users. Ensuring seamless, secure data and interface segregation for every role demanded careful planning and iterative testing. Authentication & Security: Setting up robust authentication mechanisms for multiple roles, protecting privacy (especially on public screens), and maintaining token-based patient identification called for strict adherence to best security practices. Managing these authentication flows while preserving user experience introduced significant design and implementation hurdles. Live Demos and Stakeholder Feedback: Coordinating and conducting demo sessions for Wenlock Hospital staff to showcase real-time updates, emergency alert broadcasts, and departmental integration meant frequently adapting features based on immediate feedback. Ensuring stable demo environments amidst rapid development cycles added to the challenge.
