ChainProbe
Onchain Price Feeds for M2M Processing with x402
Demo
About
The problem it solves ChainProbe is an MCP-compatible server that aggregates real-time Chainlink price data from multiple blockchains and makes it machine-readable via HTTP 402. It’s designed for autonomous systems, AI workflows, and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. ChainProbe solves three key problems: Real-time access to Chainlink price feeds – Aggregates all feeds per blockchain into a single, machine-readable stream. Access without API keys – Uses HTTP 402 with onchain micropayments (USDC, EIP-3009) instead of traditional API models. Fully onchain & M2M-ready – No offchain databases; ideal for autonomous agents and AI-driven applications.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Here’s the English translation of your text: --- The problem lies in the interplay of many components. I tried to encapsulate everything as well as possible and split it into logical parts, but the core setup had to use the SSE protocol due to legacy reasons. SSE is "sticky" — it needs to maintain a session ID. With modern cloud solutions, this makes it impossible to build the server properly because the load balancer prevents stateful connections. For more complex solutions, the project was too small. The bare metal server with a CI pipeline for autonomous updates was the most time-consuming part — especially just identifying the root error. I’ve been working with Multicall and Chainlink for a long time, and this was the first test to see if even more functionality is possible. However, x402 still lacks a lot of tooling. I had to write my own module to be able to control all features. That was also quite complex, since testing interdependent JSON-RPC calls is itself very challenging.
