    Chainbills

    The cross-chain crypto payment gateway

    Demo

    About

The problem it solves Chainbills is a cross-chain payment gateway that addresses the critical challenges of payments in blockchains. These challenges include: * Siloed Chains * Cluttered Transactions * Uncontrolled Payments * No Invoicing * No Notifications. We solve the above through the following features: 1. Cross-Chain Functionality 2. Focused Dashboards 3. Enforced Control of Payment Configurations 4. Invoicing and Receipts 5. Browser, Email, and Telegram Notifications. Chainbills eliminates the technical expertise of currently available cross-chain solutions to bridge tokens. By extension, it tackles the problematic aspect of the siloed nature of blockchains and enables seamless transactions between chains. Chainbills also makes it easy for users with limited crypto knowledge to interact and make payments for goods and services by providing a friendly user interface.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into In Solidity (for EVM), we faced contract size issues. That our original contract was exceeding the 24kb limit. To bypass this problem, we split the Chainbills contract into composable smaller contracts. Also, we used Solidity library features to further split out some executions. In Solana (Rust), we faced issues of exceeding the stack with PDAs (Accounts for Data) in Smart contract calls. Solana sets a 4MB limit and some of our functions had many PDAs necessary for cross-chain functionality. To solve the problem, we moved the Anchor Constraints and Checks out of the Context Structs into the handlers/callbacks.
