    B-Ready Dapp

Better Disaster Resilance and Emergency Response Through "People-Centered" Preparedness!

    About

The problem it solves Today we do not have an accurate and effective system to quickly identify and provide disaster assistance to our most vulnerable citizens. Current Functional Needs Registries are government-imposed databases meant to identify people needing assistance during emergencies. While designed to aid emergency planners and responders in disaster and disease outbreaks, they often fall short and create a false expectation that the cavalry is coming.  Disability thought leaders argue that Functional Need Registries, though well-intentioned, are plagued with issues and are merely "symbolic" tools for emergency managers and responders.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into The B-Ready Dapp is a next-generation disaster special needs registry that ensures perishable, user-generated information that stays current, providing an emergency preparedness plan right in your pocket. In contrast, traditional centralized, top-down government registries offer only a “siloed” data solution for disaster preparedness planning. B-Ready ensures: -Accurate and updated "user-generated" information -Sovereign identity through the HUMANITY PROTOCOL -POAP on the Hedera blockchain for "impact measurment" and attribution modeling disaster mitigation and response. -Personal emergency preparedness plan in your pocket -Social connection and broader collaborative community -Uninterrupted connectedness These are essential ingredients to any community’s disaster resilience strategy and are vitally important components in emergency preparedness and response.
