How it's made
Challenges we ran into One of the biggest challenges we faced was building an algorithm that fairly rewards genuine contributions while filtering out spam. Striking the right balance is tricky, set the filters too loose and spam slips through, make them too strict and you risk punishing real users. It’s been a constant work in progress, with continuous tweaks, testing, and feedback loops to improve accuracy. At first the algo only added points, then we adding skipping, and now even slashing. While challenging, it’s also been a fun process. Each iteration makes the system smarter, fairer, and better at amplifying the voices that truly add value.
