The problem it solves # What is Basement? Basement ensures a seamless onramp and use of AMM with the lowest friction possible. Retail users can onboard quickly and safely, and execute trades as if they were crypto-native. We automate the backend of portfolio management, allowing users to expedite swapping assets into a diverse portfolio and actively manage risk. Use of AI tools and agents # How it works Autonomous agents are given access to token data through **Uniswap**, price feeds through **CoinGecko**, and the **Uniswap Developer API**. **Powered by Haiku 4.5**, users interact with a web or mobile chat interface and can perform swaps of any token through a simple chat conversation with an agent.

Challenges we ran into # Wallets Ensuring wallet access was secure for users and accessible server-side, without every swap requiring user confirmation. # Uniswap Learning the newly implemented Uniswap API and ensuring it worked correctly and smoothly within our application. # Agents Making sure the agents were able to find the correct tokens for intended swaps to happen quickly.
