The problem it solves Checking wallet balances on Layer 2 networks like Base can be confusing for new users. Base-Explorer-Lite provides a simple, clean, and fast web interface to instantly check any wallet's ETH balance using direct RPC calls, making the Base ecosystem more accessible to everyone.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into As a solo developer, the biggest challenge was integrating the Base Mainnet RPC with a clean UI in a very short time. I also faced issues with Git branch naming conventions (master vs main) while pushing the project, which I resolved by rebasing and force-syncing my local repository with GitHub.
