    About

The problem it solves Despite the explosive growth of Web3 gaming, the MENA region remains largely underserved. Most blockchain gaming ecosystems struggle to onboard and retain Arabic-speaking users due to language barriers, cultural misalignment, lack of localized content, and inadequate community infrastructure. BAG (Based Arabian Guild) solves this by creating a culturally tailored, Arabic-first onboarding and engagement ecosystem for Web3 games. We make Web3 gaming safer, easier, and more accessible for millions of players in the region through: Arabic educational content (videos, threads, tutorials) Culturally compatible incentive systems (e.g. ethical staking) Community-led events like Game Nights and tournaments Simplified wallet onboarding & game integration We help protocols onboard real users not just impressions by providing tools and formats that resonate deeply with Arabic gamers.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into One of the biggest hurdles we faced was the lack of accessible Web3 infrastructure localized for Arabic users. Most onboarding tools, tutorials, and wallets were either in English or poorly translated, which created friction and confusion for our community. To solve this, we had to build our own localized onboarding pipelines including Arabic-language explainer videos, wallet setup guides, and in-game walkthroughs tailored to our audience’s technical background and cultural context. Another key challenge was convincing Web3 games to localize or open up to regional collaborations. Many projects underestimated the MENA market. We overcame this by demonstrating real traction hosting successful Game Nights, driving organic player growth, and delivering measurable user engagement from the region. Lastly, we ran into technical limitations with integrating some tools (like RPC endpoints or bridging assets) for players in restricted areas. Our devs had to implement creative workarounds and educate the community about safe practices.
