How it's made
What challenges are you focusing on? lack of true connected community, lack of proper education and guidiance, lack of proper support to sustain folks onchain, if their hands need to be held, we are ready to do so, lack of proper adoption of the existing onchain products. How does your submission address this challenge? We have been able to successfully host hackdays in lagos, ghana and southafrica, which where all focused on supporting builders, ensuring they are able to get started onchain, get their basenames, get their coinbase, register for the buildathon, form teams, we successfully had about 276 registerations across nigeria, ghana and south africa, 116 checking attendees. we have established major chapters in AKURE, EDO, ENUGU, ILLORIN, ABUJA, KOGI, LAGOS, CALABAR, and SOUTHAFRICA we have helped to bring about 4000 users onchain accross all our socials and community, we also help support some minor initiative that some builders may want to carry out, we have helped change the way builders view community, we have created a home and are well positioned as a superteam for base in africa. we have supported with over 400+ basenames during this buildathon, we have been hosting nonstop twitter spaces for builders and mentoring them as to how to approach building and dyanamics of teams, we also laucnched our daily technical support builders call for all folks particpating, on this call everyday, we support, mentor and provide resources to builders. Alot of amazing products have been birthed, and we also do one on calles with these products being built just to ensure that they are doing what is right. we have actively been supporting and working together do workshops, also shipping out technical tutorials on onchainkit, fleek, smart wallet and so on. we have been up and about, travelling and showing up for other community hackdays. we are not only building, we are also inspiring, and this is very clear with what onchain metrics says, more folks are taking up the mantle to build more onchain, and we also very heavy on adoption of onchain products like ( drakula, zora, bolide, moshicam, talent protocol, coinbase art gallery), we are not just contributing to bringing people onchain and connecting them but we are contributing heavily to more transanctions for base. Challenges we ran into The only challenge we have is not being able to do so much more due to financial contraints, we have the never ending energy and creativity to do so much more.
