Tokenizing Trust with Verifiable Real Assets

    Demo

    About

The problem it solves This project addresses the complexity and risk involved in tokenizing Real World Assets (RWAs) on-chain. Traditionally, bringing physical assets like real estate, art, or collectibles to blockchain systems is slow, manual, and legally ambiguous. With this system, users can: - Safely tokenize and fractionalize RWAs with legal protections via EIP-712 signed contracts. - Ensure KYC compliance through PolygonID verifiable credentials. - Leverage certified warranties from vetted third-party certifiers to boost buyer confidence. - Track real-time asset valuations using Chainlink Functions and maintain historical data on-chain. - Create a legally fortified, decentralized RWA marketplace, minimizing counter-party risk and increasing liquidity. This makes the traditionally slow, opaque, and risky RWA process safer, automated, and verifiable - all while staying decentralized.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into One major hurdle I encountered was integrating Chainlink Functions with Chainlink Automation. The goal was to automate off-chain data retrieval (like asset valuation) and trigger an on-chain response. However, I kept running into gas limit issues when Automation tried to call the Function. This led to lots of trial and error, debugging stack traces, and revisiting the documentation multiple times. Eventually, I overcame this by simplifying the payload size and following Chainlink’s official guides more closely - even though it wasn’t my preferred architectural design (I wanted on-chain request creation with off-chain hosted source code). I also ran into a build-breaking bug with PolygonID on Vercel due to server-side rendering conflicts. I found a workaround involving an alternative verifier setup that could work with Next.js, but didn’t have enough time to fully implement it during the hackathon.
