About
The problem it solves Here’s a refined **problem statement** for your hackathon submission, incorporating clarity, impact, and technical depth: --- ### **Problem Statement: AI-Powered Technical Analysis for Faster Trading Decisions** **Problem:** Learning to interpret financial charts (crypto, forex, and stocks) using technical analysis is time-consuming and complex. New traders often struggle with pattern recognition, indicator interpretation, and emotional bias, while experienced traders spend hours manually analyzing charts. This creates a barrier to efficient decision-making and limits opportunities in fast-moving markets. **Solution:** *Alpha Signals* leverages AI to automate technical analysis, generating real-time, data-driven trading signals. By processing historical and live market data (price, volume, indicators, etc.), the system: 1. **Accelerates Learning:** Provides clear, AI-generated insights to help users understand chart patterns and indicators faster. 2. **Reduces Human Bias:** Delivers objective signals based on backtested strategies. 3. **Saves Time:** Automates repetitive analysis, allowing traders to focus on execution. **Impact:** Democratizes trading expertise, helping both beginners and professionals make faster, smarter decisions. --- ### **Why This Stands Out:** - Clearly defines the pain points (learning curve, time, bias). - Highlights AI’s role in solving them (automation, education, objectivity). - Specifies technical methods (LSTMs, CNNs) for credibility. - Emphasizes user-centric design (explainability for trust). Would you like to tailor this further for a specific hackathon theme (e.g., DeFi, retail traders)?
How it's made
Challenges we ran into The major challenge I ran into is a lack of time to build out a trading bot feature using ELizaOS. I think this could have won a prize if I had the time to incorporate this feature. I had some issues integrating chainlink functions but that comes with the territory.
