The problem it solves Alive NFT Marketplace is open to all organizations that are dedicated to the protection of nature and animals. This includes NGOs, charities, and other similar groups. If you are interested in selling your NFts on our marketplace. Alive NFT Marketplace offers a way for these organizations to fundraise by selling digital assets that are authenticated and stored on the blockchain. By using the marketplace, these groups can reach a wider audience of potential donors and generate more support for their cause. The platform takes 3% royalties (1% is donated) on each sale/resale and the seller receives 97% of the amount on the initial sale and 7% on each resale that occurs from the NFT. At Alive Nature 1% of our royalties are donated to nature protection and animal cause campaigns. NFT owners can suggest which organizations to support, then a vote will be held where everyone who has NFT issued by Alive Nature will be able to vote. Each NFT in the person's possession means 1 vote. Our voting system is based on DAO. A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is an organization constructed by rules encoded as a computer program on the Celo blockchain that is transparent.

How it's made

Challenges we ran into The big challenge is to develop in solidity because I'm still learning. So, I researched a lot about deploying using hardhat (https://docs.celo.org/developer-resources/deploy-hardhat). Also, I had to study solidity and understand the paulrberg/solidity-template which is what I'm using. I've already deployed the ERC 721 to alfajores without the DAO smart contract. Now the challenge is to compile the DAO smarct contract using hardhat. I'm still working on it, but the idea is to finish the DAO to deploy it to production.
