AirSense addresses these challenges by merging generative AI and advanced gesture recognition, allowing users to interact with their ideas in innovative ways. With AirSense, users can sketch freely in the air, perform complex calculations, and visualize concepts without physical constraints. The platform’s plot generation feature enables users to create dynamic graphs and visual data representations instantly, while the image analyzer provides real-time feedback and insights on drawn images. This enhances artistic expression and promotes engaging learning experiences, making subjects like mathematics and art more intuitive. AirSense is designed for accessibility and cross-device compatibility, ensuring that it can be used in classrooms, creative studios, and everyday life. How it's made

Challenges we ran into Developing AirSense posed several challenges that required innovative solutions. A primary hurdle was achieving real-time responsiveness between hand gestures and digital outputs. Ensuring minimal delay was crucial for a seamless user experience. To address this, we rigorously tested the system across various hardware configurations to optimize performance and stability. Integrating various technologies—from gesture recognition with Mediapipe to real-time image analysis via Google’s Generative AI API—required careful coordination to ensure reliability and compatibility.
