    AI Yield Vault

    Next-generation DeFi optimization

    Demo

    About

The problem it solves **1. Effortless Yield Optimization** Users can deposit assets once and let the AI continuously manage their funds across top DeFi protocols (like Aave, Morpho, or Uniswap v4). No more hunting for the “best APY” or moving assets manually — the system does it automatically. **2. Smarter, Data-Driven Decisions** The AI monitors multiple on-chain and off-chain factors — yield rates, volatility, liquidity, and gas costs — to find the best balance between risk and reward. It learns over time, improving allocation decisions as markets evolve. **3. Time Savings and Convenience** DeFi power users and beginners alike save hours of research and transaction management. Instead of tracking several dashboards or Telegram groups, users can rely on one automated vault that optimizes continuously. **4. Built-in Risk Management**** The vault can automatically avoid unsafe or unstable protocols by reading risk metrics and security alerts. This reduces exposure to exploits or protocol failures — making yield farming safer. **5. Transparent Performance Tracking** All AI decisions and vault movements are visible through an on-chain dashboard. Users can see exactly where funds are allocated, what yields are earned, and how risk exposure changes — no black-box investing. **6. Passive Social Impact** A small share of yield is automatically donated to fund public goods. This means users are not only earning yield — they’re helping support open-source development, climate initiatives, and other community causes without extra effort. **7. Customizable Strategies** Advanced users can fine-tune AI preferences — for example: “I prefer low-risk stable yield” or “Target high-yield short-term opportunities.” This gives flexibility while keeping automation intact.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into **1. AI Integration with On-Chain Data** At first, connecting real-time blockchain data with the off-chain AI model was tricky. DeFi protocols update yields and liquidity conditions frequently, but fetching and processing that data efficiently without overloading the system was difficult. **How I solved it:** I built a lightweight off-chain data pipeline using APIs and subgraph queries, then cached results to reduce redundant calls. This allowed the AI to receive frequent but efficient data updates. **2. Rebalancing Logic and Gas Optimization** The first version of the rebalancing logic triggered too often, causing unnecessary transactions and high gas usage. **How I solved it:** I added thresholds and cooldown periods — the vault only rebalances when yield differences exceed a certain percentage, or after a defined time window. This cut gas costs significantly while maintaining performance. **3. Maintaining Security During Automation** Since the AI makes allocation decisions, there was a risk that an incorrect signal could move funds into an unsafe or low-liquidity protocol. **How I solved it:** I implemented a whitelist of trusted DeFi protocols and added a manual override mode. The AI can only choose among verified strategies, keeping user funds safe. **4. On-Chain and Off-Chain Synchronization** Coordinating updates between the smart contract and the off-chain AI agent was complex. For example, if the AI suggested a new allocation, ensuring that the smart contract executed it correctly and recorded it on-chain took careful testing. **How I solved it:** I used a simple message queue with event triggers from the blockchain, so the AI reacts only when needed — keeping the system synchronized and stable. **5. Testing and Simulation** Testing DeFi strategies in real environments is risky and time-consuming. **How I solved it:** I created a local simulation framework that mimics protocol yields using historical data. This let me safely test how the AI would respond under different market conditions before deploying live.
