How it's made
Challenges we ran into ## 🧗♂️ Challenges We Ran Into ### 🐞 **Smart Contract Testing on Testnets** One major challenge was ensuring the reliability of fund disbursement using smart contracts. Occasionally, testnet faucets were down or delayed, making it difficult to simulate real-time transactions. We solved this by rotating between multiple testnets and optimizing gas usage in contract logic to prevent timeouts. --- ### 🔐 **Onchain Data Integrity** Ensuring that only verified student data entered the blockchain without exposing sensitive details was tricky. We had to implement off-chain verification steps and use hashing to store only essential, anonymized data on-chain — keeping the process both transparent and privacy-preserving. --- ### 🔄 **Automating Recurring Disbursements** Implementing recurring payments via automation was technically complex. Setting up a robust scheduler that integrates with the smart contract logic took time. After multiple failed attempts, we integrated with Chainlink Automation, which solved the timing and trigger reliability issue. --- ### 🎨 **Front-End Sync with Onchain Events** Getting the front-end to properly reflect live smart contract states and user actions in real-time posed UX challenges. We added webhooks and polling strategies to update the interface as soon as the blockchain state changed — ensuring the UI felt responsive and trustworthy. --- > Each challenge deepened our understanding of decentralized infrastructure and strengthened our overall architecture.
