    About

The problem it solves Centralized esports platforms often suffer from lack of transparency, unfair prize distribution, and limited player control. Aether Arena addresses these issues by providing a decentralized platform where tournament management and prize distribution are handled on-chain through smart contracts. This ensures fairness, transparency, and player ownership. User Interaction and Data Flow Users connect their Ethereum wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to the Aether Arena platform. Tournament Creation: An organizer enters a tournament name and clicks "Create Tournament." This triggers a smart contract function that records the tournament details on the blockchain. Tournament Joining: Players browse available tournaments and click "Join Tournament." This triggers a smart contract function that adds the player's address to the tournament roster. Data Flow: Tournament data (name, player list) is stored on the Sepolia testnet. The frontend retrieves and displays this data using Ethers.js. The project architecture and development process Smart Contracts (Solidity): A single Tournament contract manages tournament creation and joining. Functions are designed for simplicity and efficiency. Deployed to the Sepolia testnet Frontend (React/Basic HTML/JS): A simple UI allows users to connect their wallets and interact with the smart contracts. Ethers.js is used to call contract functions and display data. The project was developed with a focus on core functionallity first, and then the front end was constructed to interact with the back end. Development Process: Smart contracts were developed and tested first. The frontend was then built to interact with the deployed contracts. Iterative testing was done at each step. Product Integrations Ethers.js: Used to connect the frontend to the Ethereum blockchain and interact with the deployed smart contracts. Sepolia Testnet: The blockchain network where the smart contracts and tournament data are stored. Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project On-Chain Tournament Management: Aether Arena demonstrates the feasibility of managing esports tournaments entirely on the blockchain. Transparency and Fairness: Smart contracts ensure transparent and fair tournament operations. Simplicity: The MVP focuses on core functionality, making it easy to understand and demonstrate. Aether arena is a basic framework that can be expanded on to include many more features. Trade-offs and shortcuts while building Simplified Smart Contracts: Security was balanced with the need for rapid development. Minimal UI: The frontend prioritizes functionality over aesthetics. No External Oracles: For this demo, no external oracles were used. Future Improvements: Implement SBTs, betting, and more complex tournament logic. Additional Features This project was built entirely during the hackathon .And we are unable to get in the website and app screening rights of the live tournment so we used tournment clips . As they will not work as we created in hurry .
