    Accelerate DRDS

A Platform for Secure Tokenized RWA Vault

    Demo

    About

The problem it solves The AXC DRDS (Decentralized RWA Data Service), addresses critical challenges in the Real-World Asset (RWA) ecosystem, particularly in ensuring data trustworthiness and enabling efficient, secure, and transparent asset management. The core problems it solves include: 1.Lack of Trustworthy Data for RWAs: Issue: RWA tokenization relies on mapping real-world assets to on-chain tokens. If off-chain data (e.g., performance metrics like Net Asset Value (NAV)) is inaccurate or unverified, the tokenized assets lose credibility, rendering them unreliable and risky for investors. Solution: The AXC DRDS integrates Chainlink Functions to fetch and synchronize off-chain data (e.g., NAV Value, Assets under trusteed) from trusted third-party sources, ensuring that on-chain tokens accurately reflect the value and legitimacy of underlying assets. This creates a reliable foundation for RWA tokenization. 2.Inefficient and Manual Asset Management Processes: Issue: Traditional RWA management involves manual processes for asset issuance, token minting, and dividend distribution, which are prone to errors, delays, and high operational costs. These processes also lack transparency, increasing the risk of mismanagement or fraud. Solution: By leveraging Chainlink Automation, the platform automates key processes such as Vault token minting, treasury transfers, and dividend distributions. This reduces human intervention, minimizes errors, and enhances efficiency. By addressing these challenges, the DRDS platform establishes a transparent, secure, and automated framework for RWA issuance and management, making it a cornerstone for credible and scalable RWA adoption.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into AXC DRDS: Development Challenges and Solutions: 1. Solidity 0.8.26 Runtime Errors with Chainlink Functions Challenge: Deploying FeedPriceByFunction and MintAmountByFunction with Solidity 0.8.26 caused runtime errors on Base Sepolia, likely due to incompatibility with Chainlink’s Functions client library. Solution: Downgraded to Solidity 0.8.19, matching Chainlink’s example contracts, which resolved deployment issues and enabled successful execution. 2. Hardhat Node Data Persistence and WebSocket Bug Challenge: Hardhat's local node failed to persist test data across sessions, and a WebSocket pub/sub bug caused unreliable contract event logs, disrupting debugging of FeedPriceByFunction and MintAmountByFunction. Solution: Switched to Sepolia testnet, using Chainlink LINK tokens for testing. This ensured persistent state and reliable event logs, enabling stable testing of Chainlink integrations. 3.Chainlink Functions Subscription Conflicts Challenge: Multiple Chainlink Functions (FeedPriceByFunction, MintAmountByFunction) under a single subscription caused conflicts, preventing simultaneous execution of price and mint amount requests. Solution: Configured separate subscriptions (FEEDPRICESUB, MINTAMOUNTSUB) in chainlink.env, allowing independent operation of each Function.
